Gandhi posted on Twitter, saying, “Call us whatever you want, Mr. Modi. We are INDIA. We will help heal Manipur and wipe the tears of every woman and child. We will bring back love and peace for all her people. We will rebuild the idea of India in Manipur.”
Notably, Prime Minister Modi attacked the opposition on Tuesday, claiming that they have no idea what they are doing. The PM moreover contrasted the ‘INDIA’ association with the British East India Company and terrorist organizations like PFI. He argued that protesting is the opposition’s responsibility and urged his party’s officials to “focus” on their jobs. He asserted that India must become a developed nation by 2047. At the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting on Tuesday, he said those things.

In response to the opposition’s call for a discussion and Prime Minister Modi’s remarks regarding the Manipur issue, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) held its parliamentary party meeting on Tuesday. According to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, Prime Minister Modi reminded the BJP leaders that the opposition’s actions imply that they have determined to remain in opposition permanently for a long time.
