Manipur, a northeastern state of India, has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The recent incident of violence that occurred shocked the nation and exposed the deep-rooted tensions between the Meitei and Kukis. On May 4, two Kuki women were subjected to brutal horror which jolted the nation. The incident shocked the nation.
