On Tuesday, Assam’s chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma ordered the state police to take legal action against Rahul Gandhi for “inciting the crowd” as Congress workers were prevented from entering Guwahati during the ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. “Such ‘Naxalite tactics’ have no place in Assamese culture. We are in a state of peace and harmony.
