Germany-India Ties To Open Employment Opportunities For Indians In Germany, Mobility Treaty Signed!

This is good news for youths and professionals looking for study or job opportunities in Germany. A Comprehensive Immigration and Mobility Partnership has been signed between India and Germany on Monday. This agreement has come when Germany has announced to open its country’s doors for professional and skilled workers of non-European origin in its country next year.

Mobility Agreement Signed

Let us tell you that Germany is the second country after Britain with which India has entered into such an agreement recently. The agreement was signed by German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who were visiting India. The two Foreign Ministers held lengthy bilateral talks in which a wide range of bilateral, regional and multilateral issues were discussed. The Ministry of External Affairs cited the mobility agreement as an example of the deepening strategic relationship between the two countries. Germany is implementing new liberal rules for foreigners to enter their country from the beginning of next year.

According to the agreement, both the countries will easily provide visas to each other’s trained citizens and professionals and give them a chance to work. Under this, Indian students will be given facilities like visa to stay in Germany for 18 months after completing their studies, visa for three thousand workers every year, multi-entry visa for easy movement. The Foreign Minister of Germany said that no one should doubt that India will play a very important role in giving direction to the Indo-Pacific region and other regions in the 21st century. The way India has lifted 400 million people out of poverty in the last 15 years shows its potential. In many ways India is a role model for many countries of the world.

Germany tries to strengthen security cooperation with India

The German Foreign Office described India as a natural partner of Germany and said that there is immense potential for cooperation in the defense sector and talks are on between the two countries. Germany looks forward to strengthening its security cooperation with India. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar said that in talks with Berbock, he talked about Afghanistan, terrorism being nurtured in Pakistan, the situation in the Indo-Pacific region, Ukraine-Russia tension and all other issues. Jaishankar bluntly reiterated that there is no point in holding talks with Pakistan until it stops supporting terrorism.
