During the Assembly, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “The PM is like a father figure. He turned his back on the daughters of Manipur. You kept sitting in your room. The entire country is asking the reason for the PM's silence...". After four of the BJP MLAs were marshalled out, they staged a protest outside the CM's office in the complex. When Manipur was on fire, he locked his room and sat inside. Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, on Thursday questioned the Prime Minister's "silence" over the escalating violence in the northeastern state of Manipur, claiming that the Prime Minister had "turned a blind eye" to the plight of the people of the state.
