Rahul Gandhi Meets With Army Veterans In Leh Market, Crowd Chants ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ Deets Inside!

SHIVANI UJJAINWALAugust 23, 20230

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, spoke with Army veterans on Monday in the Leh market and raised the flag as well. Gandhi posted a video of a large crowd chanting “Bharat Mata ki Jai” in the vicinity on his social media accounts. Rahul Gandhi shared a video on X of him in the Leh market while he was on his Ladakh tour with the caption: “Ladakh echoed with the praise of Bharat Mata!”

After claiming that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government’s assertion that Chinese PLAN troops have not claimed even a square inch of Indian territory was “not true,” the Wayanad MP spoke to Army veterans in Leh a few days later. He added that the locals concurred that the Chinese troops were encroaching on Indian territory.  The “Bharat Jodo Yatra” is carried out by Rahul in Ladakh. According to the Congress, Rahul Gandhi’s trip to Ladakh on Tuesday was in keeping with the Bharat Jodo Yatra because it allowed him to fulfil a promise he made to an Indian delegation during this nationwide march.

Jairam Ramesh, the general secretary of the Congress, wrote on X, ” On 24th January earlier this year, Rahul Gandhi had met with a delegation from Ladakh during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jhajjar Kotli, Jammu.” “His visit to Ladakh this week is in fulfilment of a commitment made to that delegation, which had wanted him to come and hear the people’s perceptions of the border challenges with China, and also their views on empowerment of local elected bodies,” he stated.

Rahul Gandhi wrote on Instagram that “Bharat Jodo” is ingrained in every Indian’s heart and mind.  “The resonating chant of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ echoing through the streets of Leh serves as a strong example of this unity. No power can suppress this voice, brimming with affection and camaraderie,” he talked about his trip to the Leh main market and posted images of it. On Saturday, the former president of the Congress travelled by motorbike through the Union Territory of Ladakh from Leh to Pangong Lake.
