Recently, Pat Ryder the Pentagon press secretary, stated that the Department of Defense is fully on the alert on the things going on along the LAC at the India-China border. “Department of Defense continues to watch developments along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) at India-China border, We have seen People’s Republic of China (PRC) continues to amass forces & build military infrastructure along so-called LAC,” Pentagon press secretary Ryder stated.
He even assured support to India and its efforts to manage the situation. He stated, “We will continue to remain firm in our duty to assure the safety of our partners. We wholly support India’s efforts to control the situation.”
On Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry representative Wang Wenbin implored both nations to retain serenity and amicability by obeying appropriate accords and agreements. Wang’s declaration took notice of the tug-of-war between Indian and Chinese armies in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang region.
