CM Yogi Adityanath Renamed Faizabad Railway Station As Ayodhya Cantt

The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has done another work in Ramnagari Ayodhya. After the completion of the foundation work for the construction of the grand Ram temple, now the Yogi government of the state has changed the name of Faizabad Junction. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has decided to rename Faizabad Railway Junction as ‘Ayodhya Cantt’. The Chief Minister’s Office has also ordered this.

The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to change the name of Faizabad railway junction to Ayodhya Cantt as well as sent the proposal to change the name to the central government for issuing an official notification. The official change notification will be issued soon after the approval of the Narendra Modi-led central government.

The Yogi Adityanath government had earlier announced the name of Faizabad as Ayodhya district in 2018. On 6 November 2018, the Uttar Pradesh cabinet headed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave its green signal to rename Faizabad district to Ayodhya and shift the administrative headquarters of the district to Ayodhya city.

The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday decided to change the name of Faizabad railway station to Ayodhya Cantt. This is being considered a big step before the assembly elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh in 2022. Steps to change the name of Faizabad Junction railway station In the state of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, even before this, the names of roads, railway stations and public places have been changed in the name of big names in Indian history.

Even before this, the UP government has changed the names of many places in the past as well. Mughalsarai railway station in Chandauli district was renamed as Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. At the same time, Manduwadih station in Varanasi was renamed as Banaras station, Allahabad Junction was renamed as Prayagraj Junction, Allahabad City station as Prayagraj Rambagh, Allahabad Chheoki as Prayagraj Chhioki and Prayagraj Ghat as Prayagraj Sangam.
