The Municipal Corporation of Kashi is preparing to set up a coal production plant of more than 200 tonnes per day at Ramna in collaboration with NTPC. According to reports Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of this plant in January that is supposed to be built at a cost of Rs 150 crore during the proposed visit of Kashi. There will also be a scientific system to dispose off the residue coming out of this plant to be built in about 25 acres.
