Ludhiana Court Blast, Kills 1 And 6 Injured; “Anti-Social Forces Creating Panic,” CM Channi

Ludhiana Court Blast on 23rd December leaves everyone stunned. A powerful explosion took place in the court premises inside a public toilet. As per reports till now in the blast, six people are injured and one person got killed. As soon as the news went viral the CM of Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi addresses a press meet stating that such incidents before elections are planted to disturb the law and order in the city. He also adds that a high-level inquiry is set to track the incident and culprits. Mr. Channi also assures that a befitting reply will be given to anti-social elements very soon. The Ministry Of Home Affairs has asked for a detailed report of the matter from the State.

Ludhiana Court Blast Details:

As per reports, the Ludhiana Court Blast took place at 12.22 pm inside a public toilet on the second floor of the court’s building. The blast has been so strong that it rips off the section of the building near the toilet. At the time of the blast, many people were present as it was a working day of the court. But many lawyers also told that due to a strike of lawyers going on many lawyers were absent in the court otherwise more casualties could have happened. Due to the incident, the Bomb Disposal Squad team reached the court and further checked the court complex. A National Security Team, including forensic experts, of the NIA [National Investigation Agency], reached and examined the site for clues regarding the matter informs the Ludhiana’s police chief Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar.

Ludhiana’s court blast was condemned by Rahul Gandhi.

An FIR has been filed against unknown people under sections like Explosives act, Anti Terror Law UAPA, Sedition, and Murder. In addition to this such incident, the question marks the security services of such government departments. Many opposition leaders also condemned the incident and asked to maintain peace in the state. Congress President Of the State Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu quotes, “An attempt to scare a particular community for polarization of votes.” In the last few days, anti-social activities are on rise in the state especially before the elections.
