Three naval personnel died and 11 are injured due to an explosion on board destroyer INS Ranvir on January 19. The incident took place at 4.30 pm as reported by the officials and it happened in the internal compartment. There has been no major material damage reported. "In an unfortunate incident today at Naval Dockyard Mumbai, three naval personnel succumbed to injuries caused by an explosion in an internal compartment onboard INS Ranvir," said the Defence Ministry in a release.
