16 Regional Parties Of The Country Took Donation Of Rs 24.779 Crore Without PAN Details!

In a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), a group working towards reforms in the field of elections, about 16 regional parties in the country have provided information about receiving Rs 24.779 crore as donations without PAN details. According to the information given by the parties to the Election Commission of India, ECI, these regional parties have collected this amount from 1,026 donations during the year 2019-20. According to the ADR report, between the financial years 2018-19 and 2019-20, in the amount received from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Samajwadi Party (SP), and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
