Priya Saroj in Parliament on Kashi Dwar, Pindra The Kashi Dwar is a township plan for the Pindra Gram Sabha. The Pindra Gram Sabha constitutes 10 surrounding villages of the Machhlishahr parliamentary constituency. This township plan is being conducted under the Uttar Pradesh Housing Development Council. For this, the Development Council proposed to acquire 900 acres of land. To protest this acquisition, the farmers of the area conducted a sit-in-protest (dharna). G.V. Vennela and the Gaddar Memorial In November 2024, the Telangana government appointed G.V. Vennela, as the Chairperson of Telangana Samskruthika Saradhi, the state’s cultural wing.
