US Praises India For G20 Summit: “Absolutely Believe It Was A Success” Deets Inside!

The G20 Summit in New Delhi was praised by the US, which declared that it was certain the international gathering was a “success”. A few days after the G20 summit ended with complete agreement on the New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration, the US stated that it thought the meeting was an “absolute success.” G20 was a success, according to US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller, who also noted that “G20 is a big organisation.” Russia belongs to the G20. China is a G20 participant. He was replying to inquiries about the outcome of the big meet.

In addition, Miller stated that the group was able to publish a statement calling for the preservation of territorial integrity and sovereignty and stating that such principles should not be compromised in response to the query of why the word “Russia” was not included in the communique. He thought this was a really crucial comment “because that is exactly what is at the heart of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine”.

“We absolutely believe it was a success. The G20 is a big organisation. Russia is a member of the G20. China is a member of the G20. There are members that have a diverse range of views. We believe the fact that the organisation was able to issue a statement that calls for respecting territorial integrity and sovereignty and saying that those principles should not be violated is an extremely important statement because that is exactly what is at the heart of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.” He added, “It is those very questions so we thought that was an incredibly important statement for them to make.”

It’s crucial to notice that the G20 New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration did not specifically reference Russia “use or threat of use of nuclear weapons is inadmissible” and underscored that all States must act in a manner consistent with the Purposes and Principles of the UN Charter in its entirety and called for a “comprehensive, just, and durable peace in Ukraine” and reminded member states to “refrain from the threat, or use of force, to seek territorial acquisition”.

“Concerning the war in Ukraine, while recalling the discussion in Bali, we reiterated our national positions and resolutions adopted at the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly and underscored that all States must act in a manner consistent with the Purposes and Principles of the UN Charter in its entirety. In line with the UN Charter, all states must refrain from the threat or use of force to seek territorial acquisition against the territorial integrity and sovereignty or political independence of any state. The use or threat of use of nuclear weapons are inadmissible,” the joint stated.
