“They Will Try To Divide Women Now” Says PM Modi Tells MP Voters As Congress Seeks OBC Quota In Reservation: Checkout!

The grand old party, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, supported the women’s reservation bill in Parliament as a result of pressure. While speaking to BJP workers in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a series of accusations on the Congress party.

Accusing previous Congress administrations of “not working” for women, the prime minister claimed that if the grand old party had done the necessary action sooner, he would not have needed to introduce the Women’s Reservation Bill. He suggested Congress’ demand for an OBC quota in women’s reservations by saying that the opposition party would seek to split the nation’s women. “Cong and allies backed the women’s reservation bill on compulsion. Its passage is possible as ‘Modi hai to Mumkin ha’,” he said, adding that Congress is scared of women’s power.

“Nari Shati Vandan Adhiniyam’ (Women’s Reservation Bill) created a new history in the country. Women of the country waited for several decades, and it was also said that it might never be done. But there is guarantee for every every guarantee getting fulfilled when there is Modi. However, I want to caution the women of India, the Congress and its new ‘ghamandiya’ alliance supported this Bill half-heartedly and reluctantly,” the Prime Minister stated.

The Prime Minister escalated his criticism by alleging that Congress had treated President Droupadi Murmu dishonourably. “These (Congress) are the same people who tried their best to stop the country’s first tribal woman President Droupadi Murmu  from becoming the President. These are the same people who have repeatedly tried to humiliate her. These people are the same people who had stopped the entry of daughters in the front lines of the country’s armed forces.”

The party’s “Jan Ashirwad Yatra” was coming to a conclusion when the Prime Minister gave a speech at the “Karyakarta Mahakumbh” in MP Bhopal. In a dig at the Congress’s long-running “Garibi Hatao” campaign, PM Modi questioned whether the party had succeeded in doing so. According to him, slums are used by Congress as filming settings and for adventure tourism. He claimed that Congress is at fault for every issue the state has ever experienced since it has never been able to fulfill any of its commitments.

“…Poor’s life doesn’t matter for their (Congress) leaders, born with silver spoons in their mouths… For them, the poor’s life is adventure tourism… For Congress leaders poor persons’ colonies have become locations for video shootings… They have done this in the past too… The BJP government is showing the developed and grand face of the country to the world…” the PM mentioned.
