According to officials, at least 100 FIRs have been filed by the Delhi Police in connection with posters defaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to authorities, Delhi Police has filed at least 100 FIRs in connection with the posting of posters critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They reported finding the posters, which read “Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao” (remove Modi, save the nation), taped on walls and telephone poles in various locations throughout the capital.

According to the police, when an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) vehicle left its offices on DDU Marg, at least 2,000 posters were taken out and a comparable number were confiscated. They said that the vehicle had been impounded. According to police officials, six people, including the owners of two printing presses, have been detained in relation to the incident.

The printing press or the publisher were not, however, mentioned in the posters. Action was taken, and a probe into the situation was launched by the Delhi Police. Dependra Pathak, a special commissioner of police (charged with maintaining law and order), said that 100 FIRs had been filed by the police in connection with the affixing of anti-prime minister posters. In accordance with the Printing Press Act and the Defacement of Property Act, the police said that the FIR had been filed in numerous districts throughout the city.
