Gujrat Defense Expo 2022: iDEX To Indicate Start-Ups, Award Winner

Defence Expo 2022 are going to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from 10 to 14 March. One of the Defence Expo 2022s top highlights is Invest4iDEX. At Defence Expo 2022, during its flagship event Manthan, iDEX is prepared to indicate its start-ups and award its winner.

During this event, start-ups are able to pitch their ideas ahead of a live audience of reputable investors and venture capitalists.

Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) will be signed by iDEX with three new partner incubators, all of which are leaders in science, venture development, and technology.

In 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX). It provides a consistent platform for stakeholders within the aerospace and defence sectors.

iDEX behaves as an umbrella organisation for technological development, integration and collaborations. Through flagship programmes like Defence India Startup Challenges (DISC) and Open Challenges (OC), iDEX enables the military to search out key solutions to the challenges which are able to be critical for the long run of military technology.

 

The Indian Navy has been successfully able to place a Supply Order with Saif Automations Services LLP, an iDEX winner. As far as the records are concerned iDEX has received over 2,000 applications from individual innovators and startups in five rounds of DISC and three rounds of OC.

The sixth edition of DISC will be launched by iDEX with 29 new problem statements from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs), and the Indian Coast Guard (ICG).
