India’s New Year Present to Afghanistan

India has sent 5 lakh of the 1 million (10 lakh) promised doses of Covaxin to Afghanistan through Iran via air. The vaccines reached Iran from where they will be sent to Indira Gandhi Children Hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan. This help is being provided under ‘Vaccine Maitri’ which is a humanitarian initiative by the Indian government to provide vaccines around the world. Other countries including Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, Bhutan, Morocco, South Africa, Nigeria, etc. too have been the beneficiaries of this initiative. India beats UK: Becomes the 3rd country to have largest number of Unicorns

Following USA at the 1st place with 487 and China at 2nd with 301 unicorns, India beats UK and replaces it at the 3rd place with 54 unicorns according to the Hurun Global Index 2021. Decline In TFR And Increase In Female Population: NFHS Suggests Some Positive Demographic Changes In India

The discourse on the population of India has taken a new turn. The National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5) has indicated a decline in the rate of population growth in India. It indicated that the Total Fertility Rate (TFR) has come to 2 i.e. one woman on average is giving birth to 2 children. To be more precise it’s 1.6 in urban and 2.1 in rural areas. Enmity With India Costed Over 50,000 Crore To China This Festive Season

India’s apex trade body, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) estimated China a loss of worth 50,000 crore to China this Diwali. This came as a consequence of the call to boycott Chinese stuffs amid the anger it fired through its actions against India.
