The world famous Durga Puja of Bengal has been given the status of cultural heritage by UNESCO. The Cultural Unit of the United Nations (UNESCO) on Wednesday announced the inclusion of Durga Puja in Bengal in the representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
