The Income Tax Department has conducted raids in several states in connection with tax evasion against registered unrecognized political parties of India. Actually, News agency PTI has given this information by quoting the sources. According to official sources, all the registered unrecognized political parties are accused of tax evasion after raising suspicious funds. The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) report reveals that the richest political party in India for the year 2019-2020 is BJP. What is more interesting is that the second position is taken by the BSP, followed by Congress. The worth of the BJP as per the ADR report is Rs 4,847.78 crore. The value of BSP is estimated at Rs 698.33 crore, followed by Congress at Rs 588.16 crore. Election Expenditure Hikes : ECI Raises Capital Limit For Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies

Election expenditure hikes by the Election Commission Of India just before the elections in the five states are welcomed by the political parties. This increment includes both the parliamentary and Assembly constituencies. Now, the upper limit is Rs 90 lakh for Lok Sabha and Rs 40 lakh for Assembly Elections candidates.
