Republic Day 2022 celebrations this year comes with new guidelines due to the ongoing third wave of Covid-19 in the country. According to the new rules laid down by the government, unvaccinated people and children below 15 years will not be allowed to attend the parade. Along with this maintenance, a strict COVID-appropriate protocol is mandatory. For example, wearing masks, maintaining social distancing and proper sanitization will be carried out for those who will be attending the event. Attendees need to carry their double vaccination certificates. But for children above 15 years guidelines are blurred as their vaccination certificates are not issued till now.
