Prime Minister Narendra Modi's photo and name have been removed from the vaccination certificates in all the five poll-bound states. The move has been taken by the Election Commission of India (ECI) to comply with the Model Code of Conduct, which came into effect on Saturday. The filters have been applied on the CoWIN app to remove PM Modi's name and photo from the COVID-19 vaccination certificates. The dates for the assembly elections in five states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur were released by ECI on Saturday.
