On October 7, Chen Almog-Goldstein and her three children were taken hostage by Hamas just moments after witnessing a horrific tragedy. Her husband, Nadav, had been shot in the chest and killed, and their 20-year-old daughter, Yam, lay convulsing on the floor after being shot in the face. The family’s safe room turned into a nightmare as armed men stormed in, forcing Chen and her children to step over Nadav’s lifeless body. In the chaos and terror, there was no chance to say goodbye. Chen’s last memory of Yam was her struggling for life as they were dragged away at gunpoint.
4. Amit Soussana: 55 Days in Hamas Captivity
Amit Soussana, an Israeli lawyer, was abducted by Hamas terrorists from her home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza on October 7, 2023, and held hostage for 55 days.
