“The (Ayodhya) Nagari became pure after Pran Pratishtha. The Ayodhya Nagari was happy when Lord Ram returned in the Treta Yug…Today, we can see a glimpse of the Treta Yug. So many Bhakts have arrived in Ayodhya and Jai Shree Ram slogans are resounding here; it feels like we are in Ayodhya of the Treta Yug times,” the chief priest said.
The chief priest also said that not everyone would get a chance to worship Lord Ram today, because of the huge crowd gathered for ‘darshan’. “There is so much crowd here today that not everyone will get darshan today and the same crowd will be there tomorrow and for the next few days,” he said.
The Acharya said that the crowd was due to 4,000 saints who came to the city from different parts of the country. Each of them brought at least two to four people with them.
On Pran Pratishtha, Satyendra Das said on Monday that Ram Rajya would start with the ceremony, and all the inequalities would end.
“Everyone will act with love. From Ayodhya, the change will spread to the whole country, and it will be very beautiful. And everyone will live in peace. We will live with goodwill. Lord Ram’s blessing will be on everyone,” he said earlier.
The temple welcomed the public this morning after the installation of Lord Ram’s idol on Monday. Both locals and visitors flocked to the main entrance along the Ram Path leading to the temple complex late on Monday night, hoping to get an early entry to the site the next morning.
The ‘Bhakti Path’ going to the temple is seeing an unprecedented crowd. The police are controlling it by using barricades and ropes.
The Ayodhya administration said that several lakh people have come to the city, a number that was not expected by the officials. Almost the entire length of 13-km RamPath is seeing a heavy rush.
An extra force, including the Rapid Action Force (RAF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) along with civil police, has been stationed at Ram Path to avoid any trouble.
