After the Election Commission gave AAP the national party registration on Monday, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal hailed the party members and said that the development in “such a short time” is “nothing less than a miracle”. The AAP has been designated as a national party, according to the Election Commission, based on its electoral success in the states of Delhi, Goa, Punjab, and Gujarat. According to Arvind Kejriwal, the nation’s citizens have entrusted them with enormous duty.
“National party in such a short time? This is nothing less than a miracle. Many congratulations to all. Crores of people from the country have taken us here. People expect a lot from us. Today people have given us this huge responsibility. Lord, bless us to fulfill this responsibility well,” Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi. “It’s a big thing for us. This wouldn’t have been possible without people’s support. People are with us. On ECI granting AAP national party registration, Delhi Minister and AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj remarked, “We want God to give strength to Arvind Kejriwal to keep on moving forward.” Delhi and Punjab are the two states where the party is currently in charge.

Following the India Against Corruption movement in 2011, the AAP was established on November 26, 2012. Last year, the party established a government in Delhi and expanded to Punjab. In Gujarat, the party ran for office and won 5 seats in December of the previous year.
The Nationalist Congress Party, CPI, and Trinamool Congress had their recognition of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as a national party revoked by the Election Commission on Monday in a landmark decision. In other decisions, the election panel recognised the Tipra Motha Party as a state party in Tripura and the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) as a state party in Nagaland. In Andhra Pradesh, Bharat Rashtra Samithi’s status as a state party has been revoked.
The Revolutionary Socialist Party in West Bengal and the Rashtriya Lok Dal in Uttar Pradesh both had their state party statuses revoked by the election tribunal. In Meghalaya, the Voice of the People Party was accepted as a state party. Based on their recent results in the assembly elections held earlier this year in Tripura, Nagaland, and Meghalaya, respectively, the Tipra Motha Party, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), and Voice of the People Party all received recognition as state parties. Punjab and Delhi are ruled by AAP. Based on its results in Gujarat and Goa, in addition to Delhi and Punjab, it was granted national party recognition. It is a state party that is recognised in Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat, and Goa. AAP has challenged polls in a number of states in an effort to establish a nationwide presence.
