Vladimir Putin Ordered Military Mobilization In Russia, Is There Another War In Upcoming Days?

Gunjan ChaudharySeptember 21, 20220

Russian President Vladimir Putin today ordered military mobilization in the country amid the Ukraine war. He alleged that Western countries are plotting to destroy Russia. These countries have crossed the limit. Putin also warned Western countries. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian presidential spokesman termed the partial deployment of troops to Russia as a great tragedy for the Russian people.

According to Russian news agency RT, Putin has said that Western countries are calling for the dismantling of Russia, but are taking this step to secure the future of his compatriots. Our goal of the special military operation remains unchanged. Putin said that Ukraine’s Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) has been liberated and the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has also been partially liberated.

Putin also warned Western countries that Russia would use all available means if territorial integrity was threatened. This should not be taken as a hoax. Putin has signed the order for the military barricade of his country. Russia’s defense minister said that 300,000 reserve troops would be deployed there.
Two Ukrainian cities, Donetsk and Luhansk, will be made part of Russia and voting for this will be held from Friday. Before waging war, Putin had announced the recognition of these two cities of Ukraine as independent regions. In Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and partly Russian-held Zaporizhzhya region, referendums will be held. This announcement has been made after his close ally Vladimir Putin told the need for it.

Donetsk, was once counted as Ukraine’s largest industrial region. It is the main city of the Donbass state, where there are deposits of many minerals. The city is one of the major steel producing centers. And the population here is about 20 lakhs. Luhansk, formerly known as Voroshilovgrad, is an important coal reserve for Ukraine. The city is also part of the Donbass region and it shares a border with Russia. The northern part of Donetsk is bordered by the Black Sea.

Donetsk and Luhansk, are part of Ukraine’s Donbass province, which have been the main source of tensions between Russia and Ukraine. In fact, the Donbass region became part of Ukraine after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Russia, on the other hand, maintains that the majority of the Donbass speak Russian and therefore must be protected from Ukrainian nationalism.
