“It Is Congress’ Fault Too,” Says, CM Arvind Kejriwal On 8 Cong MLAs Joining BJP In Goa: Deets Inside!!!

SHIVANI UJJAINWALSeptember 15, 20220

Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party and the chief minister of Delhi, reacted to the eight Congress MLAs joining the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday by blaming the latter for not being able to protect its MLAs across the nation. “BJP is breaking MLAs by giving crores of rupees to them across the country in the name of Operation Lotus, this is wrong.

But the fault is also of Congress,” Kejriwal said addressing a press conference in the national capital. They could not break our MLAs in Delhi-Punjab because we expose them, but Congress has failed to save its MLAs,” he added. After eight Goa Congress MLAs, including former Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat and Opposition Leader Michael Lobo, united with the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday, he made his comments shortly.

After meeting with the chief minister Pramod Sawant at the Goa Assembly complex during the day, Delilah Lobo, Rajesh Phaldesai, Kedar Naik, Sankalp Amonkar, Aleixo Sequeira, and Rudolf Fernandes all joined the party. Kejriwal continued by teasing the Centre by enquiring as to where the millions of dollars are coming from for them. He claimed that the BJP was “syphoning off” money from the populace and that this was the cause of the inflation rate’s rise.

“Where are the thousands of crores to buy the MLAs coming from? This is the money of the government, which is being siphoned off, thus increasing inflation,” said Kejriwal mentioning that the “BJP tried its Operation Lotus in every state including Punjab.” Days ago on September 4, Gujarat Youth Congress President Vishwanathsinh Vaghela resigned from his post which is considered to be a major jolt for the party.

On September 2, the party’s head Rajinder Prasad who is also the late Master Beli Ram Sharma’s son from Nowshera, Rajouri resigned from all of his positions and the party’s primary membership. The “demise” of the party, according to Prasad, was caused by the “coterie” system.

Rajinder Prasad and a number of other prominent politicians have left Congress in recent months. months before the impending Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections, veteran leader Ghulam Nabi Azad left the Congress. Kejriwal continued by teasing the Centre by enquiring as to how they are receiving crores of dollars. Inflation has increased, he claimed, as a result of the BJP “syphoning off” the public’s funds.
