Rahul Gandhi Needs To Study Country’s History First: Amit Shah’s Swipe At Congress’ ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ Deets Inside!!!

SHIVANI UJJAINWALSeptember 10, 20220

On Thursday, Rahul Gandhi launched the “Bharat Jodo Yatra” from Kanyakumari. Over the course of five months, the 3,570-kilometer foot march will pass through 12 states and two union territories on its way from Kanyakumari to Srinagar (150 days). Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, was criticised by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday for his ongoing “Bharat Jodo Yatra,” saying he should first learn about the history of the nation. Amit Shah stated while speaking at a BJP gathering in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, “Rahul Gandhi has started ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, but I think that he needs to study our country’s history first.”

Rahul Gandhi launched the “Bharat Jodo Yatra” on Thursday from Kanyakumari. Over the course of five months, the 3,570-kilometer foot march will pass through 12 states and two union territories on its way from Kanyakumari to Srinagar (150 days). Shah mentioned the Congress leader’s statement in Parliament and said that he had participated in the “Bharat Jodo Yatra” while wearing a jersey and a T-shirt from an international brand.

“I want to remind Rahul baba and Congressmen about his speech given in Parliament. Rahul Baba had said India is not a nation at all. Rahul Baba, in which book have you read this? This is the nation for which lakhs and lakhs of people have sacrificed their lives,” Amit Shah said.

Amit Shah arrived in Jodhpur, the hometown of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, earlier today. There, he was greeted by BJP leaders, including the head of the state’s BJP unit and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, as well as former chief minister Vasundhara Raje, opposition leader Gulab Chand Kataria, and deputy opposition leader Rajendra Rathore.

Amit Shah intensified his criticism of the state’s current Congress administration by claiming that the group is incapable of promoting growth. “Congress government cannot build roads, cannot provide electricity, cannot provide employment. It can only work for appeasement and vote bank politics,” he said.
