Garuda Aerospace that is a drone company invested by the former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is now all set to provide its specialist service to the Indian Army. The drone company will provide the drone service to the military to carry out special missions to detect, deter and disrupt international organized criminal networks.
Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who holds the honorary rank of lieutenant colonel in the Parachute Regiment of the Indian Territorial Army of Indian Army, is the brand ambassador and investor in low-cost drone solutions provider Garuda Aerospace.
Meanwhile, the Indian Army has also expressed keen interest in using Garuda Aerospace’s expertise and technical knowledge in the field of drone technology to use drones more effectively in modern warfare of India’s defense system. The company recently secured its Series A funding of USD 30 million at a valuation of USD 250 million.
The founder of Garuda Aerospace and CEO Agneswar Jayaprakash has said that Garuda Aerospace aims to help the Indian Army by creating critical products for unique applications. The company will use multipurpose drones during its strategic and tactical services to provide Indian Army with best services to make them competent enough to stand out in front of its enemies. The drone start-up company has been invited to dispatch their technical team to undertake the modification and help the army maintain timelines and operational tempo while executing their duties.
Garuda Aerospace company shall be analyzing the practices and propose a solution using their ‘Make in India’ drones to decrease the vulnerability of Indian soldiers.
