Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on an official visit to Germany, Denmark and France from May 2-4. Let us inform you This will be the first foreign visit of the Prime Minister in the year 2022.
This information was given by the Ministry of External Affairs on Wednesday. In Berlin, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral talks with the Federal Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz.
Both the leaders will attend the sixth edition of the India-Germany Inter Governmental Consultations (IGC). Held twice a year, the IGC is a separate dialogue format with several ministers from both sides.
This is the prime minister’s first IGC with Chancellor Scholz, as well as the first such government-to-government consultation with the new German government. During their visit, the Prime Minister and Chancellor Scholz will jointly address a business event.
Prime Minister Modi is also going to interact with the Indian community living in Germany.
In 2021, India and Germany celebrated 70 years of foundation of discretionary relations and have been vital partners since 2000. The visit will be a chance to improve collaboration in a wide scope of regions, worldwide issues of mutual interest and a chance for the two governments to exchange views on territorial or regional issues.
The summit in Denmark will be followed by Prime Minister Modi’s true visit to Copenhagen at the greeting of the Danish Prime Minister Mette Fredriksen. He will also take an interest in the second India-Nordic summit being coordinated by Denmark.
The visit will give an open door to the two sides to survey their advancement as well as analyze ways of encouraging and growing complex collaboration.
During the visit, he will participate in an India-Denmark business discussion and will also address individuals of the Indian diaspora.
On May 4, the Prime Minister will momentarily stay in Paris and meet French President Emmanuel Macron. India and France celebrate 75 years of their political ties this year and the gathering between the two chiefs will set a more ambitious plan for the essential association.
