Election Expenditure Hikes : ECI Raises Capital Limit For Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies

Election expenditure hikes by the Election Commission Of India just before the elections in the five states are welcomed by the political parties. This increment includes both the parliamentary and Assembly constituencies. Now, the upper limit is Rs 90 lakh for Lok Sabha and Rs 40 lakh for Assembly Elections candidates. Earlier the limit was Rs 70 lakh for Lok Sabha and Rs 28 lakh For Assembly polls. Anganwadi Workers Will Get An Incentive Of Rs 500 Every Month, CM Lays Foundation Stone Of 585 Centers

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday laid the foundation stone of 585 Anganwadi centers. In a function organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow, he has announced to give Rs 500 per month to Anganwadi workers and Rs 250 to helpers. Both Anganwadi and Mini Anganwadi workers will get Rs 500 per month. This incentive amount will be given from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2022. At present, Anganwadi workers used to get Rs 55 hundred and Mini Anganwadi Rs 4250 and assistants got Rs 2750.
