Minstry Of Ayush Launches Trials For Ayurvedic Treatment Of Rheumatism

Ministry of Ayush has launched the world’s first clinical test that will assess Ayurveda’s efficacy in rheumatism treatment. This trial is conducted in accordance with the stringent guidelines of the International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmacy for Human Use (ICH) – Good Clinical Practice.   This trial is going to be monitored by Dr Daniel Erick Furst who is a world-renowned rheumatologist from the University of California. Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (AVP) Research Foundation Ltd and the Central Council for Research in Ayurveda (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, are going to conduct these trials. BSNL Merges With BBNL: How It Will Effect Its Overall Financial Health?

The merger of Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) are going to be completed this month. The decision to merge BBNL and BSNL had already been taken by the govt and this process was scheduled to be completed before 31st March. The government has plans to infuse funds of around Rs 1.6 trillion, of which Rs 36,260 crore would be cash support for BSNL over a period of the subsequent three years. BSNL/MTNL had a combined debt of Rs 59,588 crore.
