Madhya Pradesh Tribal Women Burned Alive, Brutality Still Exists With Women

In Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal Rampyari Bai, a woman who belongs to a 'particularly vulnerable tribal group',: Rampyari Bai and her family belong to the Saharia tribe, which has been classified as a particularly vulnerable tribal group. They live in Dhanoria village under Bamori police station limits, over 200 km from Bhopal. She was marginalized on multiple levels by caste gender by social status, even after reporting to the police haven't provided any security due to which she was set on fire. Her agony was captured by a group of villagers in MP's Guna district; she died during her treatment at Hamidia Hospital. After many hours of successfully taking the waters of Narmada to Modh Kuva, the village at the tail-end of the Kutch Branch Canal, the authorities had to stop the flow after a patch in the path was breached on Thursday. We have been conducting many testing since the last week, and for the first time, the water reached Modh Kuva late on six July night. The 750 km of water flows from the Sardar Sarovar Dam, the longest site in the country, being a man-made canal. In one part, the canal created a breach, and we planned to repair it and restart the trials in the next few days. The trial aimed to look out for any problems and identify them instantly. Citing news reports said that the MCD may increase house tax which will become a financial load on the Delhi inhabitant. MCD is supposed to collect house tax of ₹4,700 crores from more than 2.7 million registered properties, but only ₹1,750 crores reach the treasury. Aircraft took off from Delhi early Saturday and after it reached 5,000 feet in the sky, the cabin crew noticed smoke in the cabin, and the lavatory smoke alarm sound turned off, the top official at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) gave a statement. "Cabin crew informed the pilot about the mild smoke in the cabin, but after the visual check, no sign of damage or smoke was observed in a lavatory," the official added.
