Chinese Ganesh Idols: Not A Single Idol Ordered From China This Year!

This year’s festive season has started with Ganesh chaturthi festival for ten days. The whole India is celebrating their Lord Ganesha utsav.This ten-day long puja is being celebrated in the community of traders with the hope that their business will be better this year. Along with this festival, CAIT (Confederation of All India Traders) has once again engaged in the boycott campaign of Chinese goods.

More than 200 million idols of Lord Ganesha are sold every year

CAIT National President BC Bhartia and Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal said that as per the estimates, more than 20 crore Lord Ganesha idols are purchased every year, earning more than Rs 300 crore. He said that since last two years the trend of worshiping eco-friendly idols of Lord Ganesha has come and such idols are being bought widely.

Boycott of chinese goods

Earlier the idols of God were made of plaster of paris, marble and other things which were imported from China because its price was low but due to the boycott of Chinese goods by CAIT for the last two years, this time a single idol from China Has not arrived in India. Sculptors across the country are shaping the idols of God in their homes. In this, the entire family of potters is gathered, who were evacuated by the intervention of China.

Eco-Friendly Ganesha

Eco-friendly Ganesha idols are being made from soil and cow dung so that instead of putting them in water, they get mixed again in the plants. This will not cause any harm to the environment. Due to these idols, lakhs of people have got a means of business in the country.
