AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly objected to the state government's order to conduct a survey of unrecognized madrassas in Uttar Pradesh. He said that madrasas are under Article 30 of the Constitution of India, so why did the UP government order a survey. He further said that the government of UP cannot interfere in our rights under Article 30. They want to exploit Muslims. Asaduddin Owaisi has described this survey as a small NRC.
