Delhi Government Proposes ‘Rozgar Budget’ for 2022-23; Shoots Up By 9.86%
Delhi's CM Arvind Kejriwal and his associate deputy CM Manish Sisodia have put up the "Rozgar Budget" for the year 2022-23. The size of the budget is increased by 9.86% as compared to the budget for 2021-22. The budget allocation for the present financial year is Rs 75,800 crores. The main focus of the budget though is on the generation of employment with almost 20 lakh jobs in five years. Along with this creating up an electronic city and promoting retail, wholesale markets are also key sectors to look upon.
