Following the ongoing temple mosque controversy that is gaining the moment with each passing day now another PIL is filed in Supreme Court of India. A PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking a direction to conduct a confidential survey by the Archaeological Survey of India of all ancient and prominent mosques in India having wells and ponds that are more than a hundred years old in the country. The PIL has sought the replacement of Wudu in ponds and wells of mosques which are more than a hundred years old. The petition has also demanded that a confidential survey may be completed so that unnecessary communal hatred and hurting religious sentiments, if any remains, can be avoided that is being done these days by one or the other person.
