The women and child development ministry is celebrating International Women’s Day week from March 1 as a component of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. As a part of this week-long celebration, various events and social media campaigns that will cover a spread of themes that may be associated with women’s empowerment and safety are being organized by the Ministry. This event is being organized in partnership with the Bureau of Police Research and Development, with the goal of raising awareness of women’s safety and security.
