Priyanka Targets On BJP, “Government Forgot Indira Gandhi’s Contribution In Vijay Diwas Celebrations!”
Today i.e. 16th December is celebrated as Vijay Diwas across the country. Exactly 50 years ago today, Pakistani soldiers surrendered in front of the Indian Army. After this the way for the independence of Bangladesh was paved. Since then, 16 December is celebrated as 'Victory Day' to remember the valor of Indian soldiers. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Thursday alleged that former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was thrown out of the Vijay Diwas celebrations of the BJP government, which has a hatred for women. Also said that the time has come for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to start giving women their rights. Vijay Diwas is celebrated in the memory of India's victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war.
