The European Union has erupted after news of a leak in a natural gas pipeline from Russia to Germany. After this news, the European Union has warned of retaliatory action in this regard. European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said it was suspected that two underwater natural gas pipelines were intentionally damaged to cause environmental damage. In a statement issued by the European Union's 27 member states, Josep Borrell said, "All available information and evidence indicates that the leak is the result of deliberate acts by someone."
