When investigators raided a small mall store in Garden Grove in California, they found a line of customers snaking around the parking area and huge bundles of notes inside the store. According to the Orange County prosecutors, Nguyen Social Services was charging up to $700 to file false cases of unemployment claims for people who couldn't qualify to get relief money for Covid-19. The shameless fraud was part of a scheme that cost taxpayers an estimated $11 million, according to prosecutors. "This isn't just an Orange County problem.
