Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has registered a landslide victory in the assembly elections held in Punjab. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the party by tweeting. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has thanked PM Modi. PM Modi tweeted, "I would like to congratulate AAP for their victory in the election of Punjab. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has allowed certain persons in five states to exercise their franchise by using the postal ballot facility. The commission has announced that employees serving in 11 sectors, including journalists will be allowed to vote using the postal ballot facility.
