Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the newly made Prime Minister's Museum in Delhi on the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Earlier, this museum was known as Nehru Memorial Museum in the memory of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru. From today its name has been changed to Prime Minister's Museum. The approval to convert the Nehru Memorial Museum into the Prime Minister's Museum was given by the Central Government in 2018.
