Tree Ambulances in Delhi Recently, Bansuri Swaraj inaugurated the first tree ambulance in Delhi. The Tree Ambulance is an initiative by Delhi Cantonment Board marking a significant step towards protecting, treating, and preserving trees in Delhi Cantt. The aim of this initiative is to safeguard the green guardians of the city. Most crucial work undertaken by tree ambulances is 'surgery' to help trees recover from infestation by termites, or other pests, which results in the hollowing out of bark from inside.
