On September 30, China withdrew its anti-AUKUS resolution after realizing it would not receive a majority of votes. AUKUS is a trilateral security agreement between Australia, the United Kingdom (UK), and the United States (US) for the Indo-Pacific region, which was announced on September 15, 2021.
