The roll-out of 5G connectivity is one of the most awaited developments in the field of communications this year. All across the nation, the Centre is looking forward to giving a major push in the communication sector. One of the main development includes infrastructure development for smooth 5G connectivity. To achieve this huge task, telecom industry will add 8 lakh mobile towers to ensure high-speed connectivity. In the next 24 months, these towers will be added across the country. At present, the total number of towers in India is approximately 6.8 lakhs. Air India and other global Airlines have cancelled most of their flights on the US route over the concern of safety issues related to the 5G services. 5G connectivity is around the corner. But for it we have to pay tariff hike. So, that we can have better network and connect in our mobile phones. On 28th November, Reliance Jio announced hike of tariff charges. These will be come in play from 1st December. In telecom sector Reliance is the biggest player.
