General Bipin Rawat, India’s first-ever Chief of Defence Staff, has died in a helicopter crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. He was travelling with his wife and 11 others to Wellington, Tamil Nadu. On 2nd December, in Geneva GHO [Global Humanitarian Overview] announced that 274 million people will need emergency aid and protection. According to GHO this is 17% more than the last year.
