Human Development Index: India Slips To 132nd Rank Among 191 Countries

In terms of Human Development Index (HDI), India ranked 132nd out of 191 countries in 2021. According to a report released by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), India's HDI value is 0.633. In the year 2020, India was ranked 131st with an HDI value of 0.645.
