Election 2022: One In Punjab, Two In Manipur While Seven Phases In UP; Counting Of Votes Simultaneously In All States

The Election Commission of India on Saturday announced the dates for assembly elections in five states. Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra informed that polling will be held in one phase in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa, two in Manipur, and seven in Uttar Pradesh. The voting of the elections will begin in Uttar Pradesh from February 10. Vote Counting will be done in all the states together on March 10. A strict protocol will be followed during elections. Victory procession will not be allowed after the winning of candidates. Anganwadi Workers Will Get An Incentive Of Rs 500 Every Month, CM Lays Foundation Stone Of 585 Centers

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday laid the foundation stone of 585 Anganwadi centers. In a function organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow, he has announced to give Rs 500 per month to Anganwadi workers and Rs 250 to helpers. Both Anganwadi and Mini Anganwadi workers will get Rs 500 per month. This incentive amount will be given from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2022. At present, Anganwadi workers used to get Rs 55 hundred and Mini Anganwadi Rs 4250 and assistants got Rs 2750.
