Delhi tops the list in plastic waste generation across the country. This information is by the CSE (Centre for Science and Environment) in their latest report titled 'State of India's Environment 2022'. Delhi generates 689.8 tonnes of plastic in a single day. Keen On Rolling Out Aadhaar Cards For Sex Workers: UIDAI To SC

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has informed the Supreme Court that it is keen to give out Aadhaar Cards to sex workers.  They need to have a certificate from the health department of states or from the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO). UIDAI said that no residence proof or identity proof will be mandatory for such sex workers. The bench of Justices L Nageswara Rao and B R Gavai was hearing the petition on the lack of food security for sex workers across the nation, especially during the pandemic. Centre Bans 54 More Chinese Apps Security Grounds; Check Out Details

The Union information technology ministry (MeitY) has banned 54 Chinese apps pertaining to data abuse and security issues. The occlusion takes place under Section 69a of the MeitY. This is not the first time that such action has been taken by the Indian Government.
